Technology-Monitoring is a process developed by IBK which backs-up the Technology-Management of our customers. Technology-Management is the part of research and technology-management, which deals with external knowledge and its assessment.
During the Technology-Monitoring process the status of innovative technologies is monitored and their development potential regarding technical, economical and ecological parameters is described. Technology-Monitoring is a method for systematic, continous research and synthesis of a given technology. Technological trends can be identified very early in order to focus own research and development activities. At the same time Technology Monitoring helps to identify patents which threaten own rights or technologies, allowing our customers to take appropriate measures.
IBK developed a software-Tool for Technology-Management purposes. Backep up by this software our editorial team, supplemented by technical expert for specific topics, perform research and synthesises. Their results are discussed by customer experts as well as external experts from research institutes and universities.

Communication is essential for being innovative. We support our customers enhancing their communication in different ways. At first bringing in new, fresh ideas from the outside to inhouse specialists of our customers is a method of confronting them with new ways of solving a problem, enhancing their abbility to think in new ways. Experiences show that by discussing new approaches under new circumstances people start to be more innovative than before. Apart from that IBK performs so called Technology-Scouting by attending fairs, conferences, symposia and workshops, which deal with innovative topics outside our customers application region. These topics are reviewed by us regarding their use in the application field of our customers. |
